Our Nooks location in Oshawa we acknowledge is located on the Traditional Territory of the Mississaugas and the territory that is covered by the Williams Treaties. We are thankful for the opportunity to teach and learn on the lands of the Peoples of Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation.

Our Nooks location in Port Hope, we acknowledge that we are located in the traditional and treaty territory of the Michi Saagiig (Mississauga) and Chippewa Nations, collectively known as the Williams Treaties First Nations, which include: Curve Lake, Hiawatha, Alderville, Scugog Island, Rama, Beausoleil, and Georgina Island First Nations.

Our Nooks location in Kingston, we acknowledge is on the traditional homeland of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and the Huron-Wendat, and thank these nations for their care and stewardship over this shared land.

Our Nooks location in Burlington, we acknowledge that the land on which we gather is part of the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit.

Our Nooks location in Niagara Falls, we acknowledge that the land is the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples, many of whom continue to live and work here today. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and is within the land protected by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum agreement.

Our Nooks location in Vancouver, We acknowledge we are on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. We thank them for having cared for these lands and waters since time out of mind, and look forward to working with them in partnership as we continue to build this great city together.
