Kaz Tamasauskas is the creative mind behind Kast Studio. Creating concrete and acrylic decor pieces, Kast offers something unique in their line of home accessories. Using modern techniques they create bespoke statement pieces for one of a kind spaces.

"I've always valued great craftsmanship and buying local goods. Having a product that stands out and is well made is one of the goals I had in creating a product.

My business idea began at a friend’s juice and plant shop. People would come in and spend a lot of money buying these gangster plants for their homes, but the pots they were in sucked. So I began researching and learning how to create 3D designs on the computer and finding a material that I could work with to make pots.

I began making my own shapes and silicone moulds for my concrete planter business. Eventually, I purchased a 3D printer ventured into laser cut acrylics. What I love most about working with acrylic are the clean lines and burst of bright colour! I wanted to create art that was fun, bold, and full of good vibes— art that could add a pop of personality anywhere! Putting a concrete planter with the acrylic art side by side adds modern contrast, colour and texture to any space."
